About Me
Hi, I am Mohamed Zaher an Egyptian American based in southeast Michigan. Yes, I speak Arabic and some French. I am offering mentoring to young engineers or students who wants to pursue a career in engineering. When I am not at work, I enjoy working out, kayaking, hiking, fishing, reading, traveling and playing board games with friends. I have been to 4 continents, I look forward to exploring more of the world some day. My biggest dream is to own a sail boat and take it sailing around the globe for 3 years.

I have served as a mentor for different individuals over the years. I have advised engineers, engineering and high school students who pursue a career in engineering on how to pursue and develop their careers in engineering. This is a free service with expectations that goes both ways. We would meet and see if we are a match to work with each other and set expectations. If it all works out, we will work together and evaluate progress on a monthly basis.
Vision for the Future
For my next stop in engineering, I am aiming for a director level position with more responsibilities where I can help shape the vision of future products and the company. It is not the last stop that I am aiming for as I am targeting to reach the chief executive level in my 50s or sooner. I will continue striving for an SAE fellow title in the future.
